    Appetizers:

    1. No Bidness - Blind Melon

    2. Fool's Gold - Root Hog - This is my cousin's band. Shout out.

    3. Dog Gone - Frank Black - There are some jewels among Blach Francis's solo work, whether you think this is one or not.

    Bloomington salad:
    4. Set it Free - Vinyl Star - These guys played in my brother's basement with:

    5. Angel - Black Cow - Not much I could do with the sound quality. Sounds better on big headphones.

    6. In My Head - The Giggles

    7. The Perfect Timing - Impossible Shapes - I know Heff has this, but I couldn't resist. The guitarist was also with the band from track 5 for a bit.

    Main course:

    8. Making Plans for Nigel - Primus (originally XTC)

    9. Girl Named Hello - of Montreal

    10. Lets Go Fucking Mental - The Brian Jonestown Massacre

    11. Hillbilly Joker - Hank Williams III - I saw these guys open for Beck, it was great

These next 3 you are familiar with bands and you either already have the songs or don't care for them much. But they are my jams.

    12. Mi Amigo - Kings of Leon

    13. Level - The Raconteurs

    14. Sinister Kid - The Black Keys

Maybe some new stuff here, maybe not.

    15. Rattling Locks - Josh Ritter

    16. Drifter's Ghost - Woodbox Gang - Friends of mine. Shout out.

    17. Ha Ha - Ameliana Torrina - Never seen a picture, but if the name and voice are any indication, I would do her.

    18. Truth - Alexander - My wife wants to be his girlfriend.

    19. The Saddest Song - Morphine - It was either this or a Treat Her Right song.

    Dessert:
    20. Big Bang - Aesop Rock - This guy is the magic eye picture of hip hop. At first it doesn't make much sense, but if you stare long enough, it all comes together.

    21. Superfun mystery song - This one is up to you. You tell me the artist and song for this track, that is your homework.

  2. I hate that I haven't been able to devote as much time as I have to the other mixes but I do know that the "Superfun Mystery Song" is "Peaches En Regalia" by Frank Zappa, however since it is a newer live recording I suspect the performer is Phish.
The Black Keys should always be welcome to anyone who enjoys music and mix cds. I enjoyed the energy of Primus' cover, and you beat me to putting Of Montreal on a cd but that's okay because now it just helped me narrow down who I want on there.
